Families & providers, united

For every child, quality care. For every provider, a higher standard.

A coalition of North Carolina families and providers advocating for autism care that is accessible, evidence-based, and held to a high standard.

Access and quality go hand in hand.

North Carolina has made real progress giving children with autism the care they need — and it now has some of the strongest quality standards in autism care, standards this coalition championed: meaningful BCBA supervision, in-person-first treatment, and clear accountability for every provider.

We are not choosing between access and quality. We are fighting for both, because families need both — and the surest way to protect this program is to enforce the standards that make it worthy of trust.

Evidence

Care guided by research

ABA is a gold-standard, evidence-based treatment. Decades of research link it — and the right number of therapy hours — to real gains in communication, learning, and independence.1

Standards

Quality worth requiring

We championed the strong standards now in state law: meaningful BCBA supervision and in-person-first care with sensible telehealth guardrails. Quality providers welcome high standards.

Access

Continuity for every child

Therapy works when it isn’t interrupted. We advocate for authorization policies that keep children connected to care — especially the children who need the most hours.

Our coalition

The families who live this care. The providers who deliver it.

Stand with North Carolina families.
